Summer & Vacation Camps
When school is out, we're just getting started!
During school vacations and summer breaks, we provide a wide range of structured camp programs to help develop and nurture children into future leaders.
Limited access to structured activities and support during the summer can contribute to what’s known as the “summer slide” phenomenon, wherein students experience a loss of knowledge and academic skills during extended breaks from school.
Summer camp programs, as such, are an ever-important aspect of our mission as we work to combat these inequities. Our summer camp programs go beyond Brockton and Taunton by serving youth from nearly 50 zip codes across Southeastern Massachusetts. We work continuously and intentionally to ensure that our summer camp programs connect back to our school-year programming and that they are youth-informed, accessible, enriching, educational, and fun for all!
Each summer, we serve more than 800 unique youth through our camp programs at Camp Riverside and our Brockton and Taunton Clubhouses.

In recent years, we have invested...
over $2M into our 100-acre Camp Riverside property, ensuring that our high-quality programming has top-tier facilities to match. Our summer programming has expanded to include outdoor STEM education, performing arts, archery, high ropes adventure courses, boating, and even pickleball! It’s truly amazing what even a few weeks in the right place can do for a child.
During scheduled school vacations in December, February, and April our Clubs offer full-day mini-camps to our members for an additional fee. During school vacation camps, members have access to enriching and educational curricula, expanded program offerings, and a variety of special activities and events including fun-themed events, special programs, field trips, and games.
School Vacation Camp hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and pre-registration is required for all participants.
