Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South works to provide all of our members with high-quality programming that is safe, fun, and makes a measurable difference, with an ultimate goal of imparting to them the skills needed to achieve success in the 21st century.
We recognize that no single organization can provide everything needed to enable youth to succeed, and so we are constantly working to forge dynamic partnerships with local schools, community organizations, businesses, and coalitions to maximize our collective resources and the ultimate impact we make in the lives of the young people we serve.

We became the fiscal sponsor of the Just Checking In Fund in 2017. Mary Waldron founded the Just Checking in Fund in memory of her late husband, John, who passed away unexpectedly in March 2012 due to complications from a routine knee surgery. John was known for his fundraising for school athletics and clubs. John always “checked in” with family and friends, and many times, complete strangers in need.
100% of all of the funds raised through the Just Checking In Fund help to provide college scholarships and support to and charities that John supported, including the Boys & Girls Club!
