Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for
overseeing the organization’s activities in service of our mission.
The charge of the BGCMS Board of Directors is to provide governance:
high-level strategy, oversight, and accountability for the organization.
Board terms are three years in length and board members are asked to pause to reflect on their level of commitment and capacity to make an impact through their work before renewing for a new term of service. We want and need board members who bring value and passion to their service.
Our Board of Directors, as a governing body, meets bi-monthly to focus on directing the organization’s mission, vision, strategy, and goals.
Board members also commit to serving on at least one Board-led subcommittee which meets bi-monthly in between bi-monthly board meetings.
