Teen Programming at BGCMS

Many of our programs are designed specifically to service teen members and are implemented in our dedicated Teen Centers which are open to members in grade 8-12. Teen programming expands upon the core curricula and activities our youth engage with as pre-teens.

Areas of Focus

Character & Leadership

Financial Literacy

Health & Wellbeing

Mentorship

Academic Success

College & Career Exploration

As members transition to high school they received additional support from our College Access & Career Exploration staff in researching their options for the future and applying to college or trade schools and in preparing to enter the workforce. In addition to assisting members with completing college essays and applications, our staff of teen-focused youth development professionals take members on college tours and help with applying for financial aid and scholarships.

Through service learning programs like Torch Club (ages 11-13) and Keystone Club (ages 14-18) our teens are empowered to:

Support & Influence Their Club

Sustain Meaningful
Relationships with Peers

Act as Role Models for
Younger Members

Make A Positive Impact
on their Community

Our caring staff provides mentorship that helps kids to develop a positive self-image and learn to respect their own and others’ cultural identities. We also offer a variety of social and emotional development programs for our teen members which help support them in the transition from adolescence to adulthood.

During the school year, our Brockton Clubhouse Teen Center is open Monday - Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.

During the summer months, we offer a full-day Teen Summer Camp from late June to late August
every Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Our Safe Summer Nights programs for Brockton youth ages 13-20 runs from 4:30 to 10:00 PM

every Monday-Thursday from early July to late August.
