Bill Benford is the Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer at Bluestone Bank. He leads the Commercial and Residential Lending Teams and is responsible for management of the Credit Department. His responsibilities include business development, portfolio management, asset quality, and underwriting. He has over 35 years of experience in small business, middle market, asset-based, SBA, CRE, and Construction Lending.

Bill graduated from Clark University in Worcester, MA, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. In addition to his Board seat with Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro South, he is a board member of BancAlliance, a nationwide provider of lending services for community banks, and he Chairs the MA Bankers Credit Committee Group. Bill is a former board member of Southeastern Economic Development Corporation. Bill lives in Cumberland, RI.
