Monica Lombardo serves as Vice President & Chief Advancement Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South and has over a decade of experience leading the resource development and mission advancement work of youth-serving nonprofits at the local, regional, and national levels. Monica joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South in 2014 and since then BGCMS has grown from a single-site Club to a multi-Club regional operation serving youth from nearly 50 communities. In 2020, Monica was named Boys & Girls Clubs of America's "Northeast Region Outstanding Resource Development Professional of the Year" in recognition of the culture of philanthropy she has developed within our organization.
In addition to her work at BGCMS, Monica serves as the national vice chair of Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Gen XYZ young professionals resource group, as a member of Bridgewater State University's Alumni Council, and on many area task forces and committees working to support children and families in Southeastern Massachusetts. She holds an MPA degree from Suffolk University in Boston where she studied Nonprofit Management, and a BA in Sociology and Communications from Bridgewater State University. Monica is a diehard New England Patriots fan and lives in Halifax, MA with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
